The study investigated motivation, work-environment and psychological contract breach as predictors of turnover intention among security personnel in commercial banks. Eighty-four male participants with a mean age of twenty-nine years were drawn from fourteen commercial banks in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital, using convenience sampling technique. Four instruments were used for data collection, namely, motivation scale, work environment scale, psychological contract scale and turnover intention scale. The research adopted a cross-sectional survey design, and the result of multiple regression analysis revealed that motivation negatively predicted turnover intention. Among the variables investigated, work environment was the strongest negative predictor of turnover intention. Similarly, psychological contract breach negatively predicted turnover intention among security personnel in commercial banks sampled. Overall, the study shows that reducing turnover intention among bank security personnel requires a comprehensive human resource approach that combines effective motivation, a conducive work environment, and the fulfillment of psychological contracts. Implementing these strategies can improve employee retention, organisational stability, cost reduction, service quality, and overall organisational performance in commercial banks.
